When you login to HDFC netbanking and then click on your account number, there on that screen, you will notice "Required Average Balance" value becomes ZERO. That mean you don't need to maintain any balance in your SavingsMax account.

I have max account with FD of 50k but it says required avg bal is zero

Strange. When my account was savings a/c, it was showing 10k as Required Average Balance. Once converted, it become zero.

may be because my average for this month already got completed, as my balance is above 4L for past two weeks

I think if we maintain 7.5 lac for a day and remaining days zero, the monthly average would be 25k (considering 30 days in a month)
can we calculate it this way?

Yes it’s right
But bank system sometimes do maths in favor of banks so we will miss of a day which results in penalty unnecessarily
