Revaluation Hdfc Swiggy Amazon Pay Gift card (you should get 5% cashback)

Today I have purchased Amazon pay gift card from Amazon with Axis Ace.Then I have called Customer Care to know the MCC code,they said it's 5399.

This code is in the Hdfc swiggy inclusion list.So we should get 5% cashback for Apay Gift card.

Please confirm those who are using.

I will check the merchant name in Otp SMS… if we won’t take risk then we can’t gain anything

I have Apay card as well.. I'll get 2 percent through that.. Risk is if the transaction is done through Swiggy CC and I don't get the cashback then loss of 400 if the Gift card is of 20k

Just go on the Amazon app and search Amazon gift card and select the normal gift card but remember first buy a small amount gift card to check the merchant name

On 19th as I told earlier I bought gc for 6k... Transaction got failed due to some reasons but it was showing in orders and asked me to retry payment and that time I got OTP for amazon.in ... So you can try this as well by failing the transaction

I got 5% cashback for Apay GV txns done till 10th Sep. All of them had eligible text in OTP sms and after txn emails.

I tried buying one on 22nd Sep as well and got ineligible merchant 'Amazon' in OTP sms. I did not proceed with txn.

When trying today to buy 10k Apay GV from my amazon account, I dont see any already added CC and when I tried adding one, I got warning that CC is added in my walltet but cannot be used for this txn.

Spoke to Amazon customer care and they said CC is disabled for all thr GV txns and for all the users. Asked me to proceed with another payment method.

Tried again for 5K Apay GV and now I see my credit cards but still could not use swiggy hdfc CC after adding that in my account.



Tried from another account(this account I used in earlier as well) where swiggy hdfc cc was already there, got 'amazon.in' in OTP sms and went ahead and completed the transaction.

Will get to know about cashback next month.

I have bought total of Rs.41200 GV this month using swiggy hdfc card.

Tried one more 10k GV and it did not go to OTP page. Says order pending. Looks like I hit the limit.

Need more for upcoming insurance payments in Dec.

Btw afaik if you have only 1 Swiggy CC max capping each month from HDFC is 5% upto ₹1500.

keep buying from amazon and they'll disable the option to use CC on gv purchases soon :3

Buy a 100 or lower GC first then call CC and check the MCC… this is the best option I guess… 5699 is eligible for 5%

Tried multiple times. Only get "Amazon Gift Card Mum" now. Guess will have to use Millenia for gc purchase.
