HDFC Swiggy Credit Card LTF

So I applied for an HDFC Swiggy credit card, and I got the card. I already have a Millenia card, so the Swiggy card is a floater card only. I requested LTF through email, and they rejected, and i escalated again they rejected, and i escalated to Grievance Redressal, and they replied

This is with reference to your e-mail dated October 14, 2024 regarding your HDFC Bank credit card account.



It is unfortunate to note that your recent interactions with the bank have not been to your satisfaction and we regret the inconvenience caused to you in this regard. We assure you that it is our constant endeavour to provide outstanding service to you and ensure that your banking experience with us is always pleasurable.


We wish to confirm that a lifetime free credit card shall be issued only based on pre-approved or on-going offers, at the time of card application. We observe that your credit card bearing number XXXX was issued during September 2024 as a first year free card basis your online application. We would like to confirm that the applicability of the annual renewal fee was part of the Terms and Conditions. Also, we wish to confirm that the membership fee was detailed in our product feature panel within the Net Banking application form.



The renewal fee for Rs.500.00 plus GST (Goods and Service Tax) at 18% is applicable from second year onwards which shall be waived upon incurring spends for Rs.2,00,000.00 or more in previous year.

So can I raise it to PNO?
Note: I got the card 1 week ago, and it's not activated yet.

I already hold two HDFC credit cards - Diners Privilege and Tata Neu Infinity. Does HDFC bank issue only 2 credit cards per consumer? Is it could be the reason my card got rejected?

I think then the other reason could be that I in my KYC I gave my address same as aadhar but completed video Kyc from a far off location. Could this be a reason?

Interestingly, my application got declined/rejected by the HDFC bank first, but 3 days later I received an SMS for physical KYC of my Aadhar. When the agent came, I told him that my application is already rejected, how come this KYC is being done. He said, you proceed with the KYC, you will get the card. Two more days later, another agent came to my house for address verification, and the very same night, my same application, which was rejected earlier, got approved.
In summary, HDFC bank can do anything 😂

Strange. I just changed Landmark, then it asked vkyc/physical kyc, i selected physical.
Next day it got rejected. Mailed to priority redressal, they said application incomplete and i need to send aadhar pan application form to chennai address. I did but no response

However in Wlecome mail its mentioned you will share limit with HDFC card and my other HDFC card is Tata Neu with only 51k limit. How to know what is the limit of Swiggy card now whether it is 1.25L or 51K?

U will get ur limit after 5 days. Limit will be same as ur existing hdfc card

usually 90% time LE only possible if you submit income proofs or pre-approved in bank account.

like your first card with income proof, or you shared income to increase later etc.

as of now, in India co-brand apps don't have authority to provide particular limit. Its entirely bank decision.

There's no such cooling period, most probably ur swiggy card gets approved in 1day
