HDFC - Switching from Diners club to Visa network

If I switch from Diners to the Visa network, then will I lose my card's LTF status? Will there be any charges? HDFC's customer care is useless and can't provide me with this information.

Acceptability. What is the point of having a card if it doesn't get accepted anywhere? I could have saved 3K on my gold purchase, but this stupid card didn't work.
