Health Insurance for Retinitis Pigmentosa as PED

When you mean related what all does it include?
Anything with root cause epilepsy.

Think of a situation like you are riding bike, have an epilpsy episode, loose control and hit somewhere like dividers. Now even though this is technically an accident, but root cause being epilepsy, company may/may not deny the claim.

Thanks I am going through the plan details

Sadly yes.
Unless you want to hide the epilepsy and willing to take risk for future claims.

I have given policy to both kind of clients.

In Case 1, client is 30+yrs old, had 1 episode of epileps toy way back at the age of 4/5. He didn't want to disclose. So went ahead and got normal plan Care Supreme.

In Case 2, client is 60yrs old, had 2-3 episodes in last decade. Currently not on any medicine. He didn't want to take any risks. So disclosed about it. Got Care Freedom with permanent exclusion for epilepsy and related claims.

I asked in IDFC while visiting they suggested to try Aditya Birla there is possibility applied for the same and got Health Insurance with PED as Epilepsy with 3 years Waiting Period for PED and loading of 1k extra
