Help me plan an itinerary for Mumbai

How hard would it be to get a reservation at Nav Chaitanya?
They have recently expanded so theres not much wait time even if its full. I usually go for an early lunch so theres usually space available.
You should call them on the day off.

Tanjore Tiffin Room for south indian food.
I'd also recommend Yazu and Baoji both in lokhandwala for chinese/asian food.

Food at fancy restaurants will be too costly

Baki sab is very cheap

2 is enough to explore full Mumbai

Prefer public transport (B E S T BUS or local train)

There isn't anything at juhu beach ( i directly go to end and have pav bhaji)

Also add temples (iscon,Mumba devi , etc)

Ettara for coffee especially if u plan to enjoy Juhu beach pre 5-6am.
Nav Chaitanya for sea food.
Joeys Pizza is near by as well 😛

When you do the Bandra locations you should ideally drop by one of the bakeries for snacks. Hearsch/Andorra/A1.

And you can really skip marketcity.
Joeyssss is mustt visit

Ab b* dominos kha kr ajeeb lagta hai after joeys

I’ll be dining in Juhu, Kala Ghoda, Bandra and kurla. I really appreciate your effort in helping me out man. Thanks a lot.

Our family enjoys Seafood, Chinese, North and South and we do eat Non-Veg a lot.
I haven't eaten much in juhu except at JW marriot, but there's a Mahesh lunch home branch, seafood is great, Surmai and prawns, they've got fixed thali's with multiple dishes in small portions as well,

Kala ghoda has multiple great options, i like Folk for indian, Americano for italian-american, Ayubs for rolls(you'll have to stand on road thought), or Carter blue's for rolls(you can sit inside), Khybar for north indian

Bandra - there's the orignal branch of carter blue's for rolls, Hakkasan for chinese,
Fatty bao is on linking road,
BKC is a busniess hotspot in day time but turns into a party Hotspot at night, there's Yauatcha for asian fare, nara thai for thai,
And there's Highway Gomantak for Maharashtrian fare, great seafood and mutton, again fixed thali's with multiple dishes in small portions available as well,

I haven't been to kurla myself in awhile, but I'm sure you'll find good dining options inside Market City Kurla

American Express bakery at hill road is my favorite in bandra, try their prawns pattice if available, but everything there is great

Prawns pattice is only available some days of week, i don't remember which, do call and find out

- Nariman Point and Marine drive - you can spend lot of time here.
- Gateway of India
- If time permits, take a boat to Elephanta caves
- Colaba causeway for shopping
- Have lunch in Cafe leopold with chilled beer
- Walk down from CST railway station to Kala ghoda - just to admire architecture
- Take a cab and experience Coastal road from Marine drive to Bandra. It is brilliant
- Haji Ali Darga
- Worli Sea face
- Bandra Bandstand

And all other things you have planned

Ignore all the people who say there is nothing to see in Mumbai.

I have a bunch of ITC points that I am looking to burn. Should I have dinner at

ITC Grand Central, or
ITC Maratha?

Choices are either Kebabs and Kurries at Grand Central, or
Yi Jing at Maratha

Have tried kebabs and kurries at Grand Central, it wasn't anything special.

Peshawri at Maratha not an option ?
Its by far the best place for kebabs if budget is not constricting.

Budget is not constricting.
This is it then. I will go to Peshawari. Thanks for the recommendation, any particular dishes you would recommend too?

@Riya Sharma FYI, the Novotel doesn’t have any locks in their bathrooms and the bathroom blinds are accessible from OUTSIDE the bathroom. You should look into hyatt centric or sun and sands hotel if possible. For a good dining experience, you may go to Sea Princess Hotel, SOHO House; you can visit Baglami and Bawri in BKC. If you like desserts like cheesecakes, must visit Dessert Therapy at Pali Hill. Bandstand is a 5 minute ride from there. SoBo you can check out Parsi dairy (K rustom). Make sure to check out Malabar Hill for a great view of queen’s necklace. Can go to Taraporewala Aquarium. Also Linking Road and Palladium are great for shopping. Phoenix marketcity is not worth it since you’re already planning for palladium

I’ve already made the booking and it is non-refundable so I guess I’ll just try to use the deadbolt and inform my family members about the other problems with the room. Thanks for the information.

I’ll definitely be checking out some of the stores you have mentioned and try to visit.

If you are going for fine dine, I would suggest that you skip 5 stars altogether. Bombay has excellent stand alone restaurants, and especially if you wanna try international cuisines, which you wouldn't find elsewhere in India. Try La Loca Maria for spanish/Bombay Canteen for fusion Indian food. Izumi's great for japanese+excellent cocktails. Make sure you get advance reservations if you wanna visit them, hard to find a table same day.

Thank you very much. The Bombay Canteen and Izumi look really good

I did want to ask what would be the most economical way to get around the city? I feel like I'll easily rack up an Uber Bill in the tens of thousands if that's all I use. Is there a way to rent a driver or use some other way to get around the city? I will not be driving so simply renting a car will not be possible. But renting a car with a driver is an option, so please recommend any services if you know of them. Thanks.
