Hotel Bookings on Travel Edge vs Gift Edge MMT Vouchers

If I understood correctly, it is more rewarding to buy an MMT Voucher from Gift Edge and book rooms directly on MMT — with 10x rp.

Booking hotels from Travel Edge has 5x rp.

In any case, the spends on Gift Edge count towards milestone. Gift Edge also doesn’t have upper cap (except Amazon and Flipkart).

So, i guess it’s wise to buy vouchers from MMT and do the booking on MMT, instead of using Travel Edge.

What do you guys think? Or am I missing something? 😕

Yes to both questions as far as MMT vouchers are considered. You will get a refund if the original booking was cancellable. The only restriction is that you can only apply 3 vouchers in one transaction but you can use a voucher for multiple transaction.
The max denomination available for MMT Hotel vouchers on gyftr (10x Reward points) is Rs 5,000. So, if we need to make a booking for Rs 28,000, we gotta split it into 2 transactions of Rs 15,000 and Rs 13,000, is that correct? Unless we buy a higher denomination voucher of say, Rs 10k or Rs 20k from another source and use it instead.

Yes - that is correct. Seems there used to be 10k vouchers on Gyftr earlier but I havent seen it.

yes u can, the voucher RP gets credited in 90 days, the travel edge points gets credited in 12 days.
so if wanna accumulate RP ASAP go with travel edge, if u can wait go with voucher.
The Travel EDGE Points are not getting credited in 12 days anymore. The CC told me it will be 90 to 120 days

Even after splitting transaction in 2 parts , you still have a restriction of max 3 vouchers per invoice

I have made a booking with pay later option - last date to make the payment is 7th June - can I still purchase MMT hotel vouchers and make the payment.

Also, i got the booking at a discounted rate - hope the discount will still be applicable.
Direct discount - Yes
Discount codes - if any applied will be NO
