How can I get SBI Cashback Credit Card while already holding SBI Elite (IIT Student Program)?

I’ve been using the SBI Elite Credit Card since July 2024 under the IIT student credit card program. Now, I’m interested in getting the SBI Cashback Credit Card for daily online spending.

I’m still a student and don’t have a fixed income source. Is there any way I can apply for or be eligible for the SBI Cashback card — maybe through a card-to-card basis using my Elite card as reference?

CB card will approve only based on your CIBIL.
So go ahead and apply

What about income proofs and ITR.
And my CIBIL score is 765. Is it sufficient for that?

If your cibil is good and no issues then it will go through, 90% they will not demand ITR for CB card.

Either card will approve or decline.
Above 760 is okay history should be clean i.e no late payment and no enquiry in last 6 m

If they upgrade, then likely they will take away the LTF status...
