There is no international lounge access for rupay platinum. Select has international lounge access.

Almost all the PSU banks provide 2 international lounges in a year on a Rupay Platinum debit or credit card.
strange. nothing is written as such on bank's site, so I don't take chance.

i was provided with indian bank kit debit card which is rupay platinum. Any idea on whether it has international lounge access too? Branch has no proper idea..

There are 2 different types of rupay platinum debit card : One is Rupay Platinum and Other is Rupay International Platinum. Rupay International Platinum have 2 international lounges in a year.

Whether it will work is another question 😁
I was able to see this in their website but branch is not sure of that either. That’s why I was looking out for anyone who had practical experience with indian bank Rupay platinum card.

What are the charges for Rupay debit card lounge access ?
1. For Domestic Lounge usage an authorization for an amount (Rs. 2) will be debited from customer's account which is non-refundable.
2. For International Lounge Access, the debit Cardholder will be charged with applicable lounge access fee at the time of entry. The lounge access fee will be reimbursed to the Cardholders account in the subsequent month.

Not true. I used both rupay select dc and cc. Never got charged anything.
Not sure about Rupay Cards, but I have used my IDFC Wealth debit card at the Singapore lounge. I was charged Rs 2937 at the time of entry, but the bank promptly reversed the amount within 8-10 days.
Same for sbm visa dc also. It gets charged first and reversed later after 2 weeks.
