How many HDFC credit cards can I have

Regarding which HDFC cards are recommended --
I recommend only three cards from HDFC .

1) Infinia as core card-- first apply for this through the branch if you have 45 lacs ITR
2) Biz Black as floater card-- then apply for this through the branch with 27 lakh ITR
3) Swiggy as co-branded card 10% cashback on swiggy food delivery.
I can get this lifetime free through my Swiggy app
Is BizBlack considered a core credit card? Can I get Infinia after I get BizBlack? If so, what are the ITR requirements?

No
Not likely, first get infinia
Now both cards ITR requirement increased to 60 lacs and 30 lacs for self employed

Asked cause i have both Moneyback+ and Millenia XD . Both are active. Confused on how to proceed.
This is interesting, you technically have 2 core cards from hdfc, something that's quite rare these days

Don't close any if they're LTF

keep Millennia as it is and try to upgrade moneyback to like regalia or dcp or something, that's how I'd go

Surprisingly Money-back + is paid while Millenia is LTF. Aight , hopefully they give me upgrade for Money-back + .

I still do not understand why BizBlack is not considered a core credit card when cards like Regalia Gold are considered a core one.
Similar to other premium cards like Infinia or DCB Metal, it has superior benefits and accelerated rewards and the same reward points calculations (except for 1 or 2 categories on Infinia, maybe).

All I can understand is it is not a co-branded card like HDFC Swiggy or Tata Neu, where the reward points are much lesser.

It's neither core nor co-branded,
It's a business expense card for self employed

But reward and benefits are great

Regarding point 1- will this work if you are salaried where your ITR goes above 45 but your payslip (monthly take home) is below their threshold of 2.75 lakhs? If you are salaried, will they mandatorily ask payslip even if you want to take the ITR route?
same query here, anyone knows the answer?

You can get 1 core card and then as many as co branded(Tata neu, Swiggy, Marriot bonvoy, Times Prime, etc) card as you want, all of them will share single limit

There have been few people who got 2 core cards, i read awhile back on this forum that someone had DCB and Infinia both, but it's quite difficult to get as HDFC doesn't give more then one core card per customer
Hi i have millinea ltf from 2 years, recently 10 days ago I have applied for swiggy HDFC ltf but not activated.

Now I got Tata neu infinity ltf, am I ok to apply Tata neu infinity as well, will I get it ?

I am thinking of applying Tata neu infinity ltf and then try to activate HDFC swiggy

Please suggest

You can try and apply Tata Neu Card, and you'll get easily regardless of whether you activate your Swiggy card or not

As far as whether you'll get Tata Neu Plus or Infinity, it depends on your existing card limit, but getting Infinity is pretty easy these days i hear

As far as LTF is concerned, it depends on your luck, but its quite difficult these days

Card limit is 2.5 lak ,millinea is core card, an youtuber mentioned he will be providing a special referral link in collaboration with hdfc-tata , where we can get ltf , details from him will be shared by oct23, offer valid till oct 24 as per his video. Let me see if he really does

Someone , please give definite answer... As there are opposing answers in this forum...
Currently , if a person after getting Tata Neu card(only hdfc card), can get core card issued or not?
If yes, how (branch/online/preapproved)?

Yes for Salaried folks payslip is mandatory. How I got to know I was having a hard fight with HDFC for Infinia in the past and escalated the matter to MD desk and also copied Parag @ Jagadeesh ousting my frustration with the eligibility process for Infinia. I had ITR >45LPA but had net income of 2.75LPM. Next day someone from the MD desk called me and explained in detail that for salaried only Payslip is considered and for business only ITR is considered. He also told the net take home was 3LPM and not 2.75LPM. If salary criteria is not met then there are other criteria like existing HDFC card with Regalia & above with 8L CL and spends in last 6 months >8L. So to your question salaried no ITR.

Infinity requires 1.5L+ limit, so you're good there

I've heard referral link from Tata employees gets you LTF card, maybe your youtuber has access to this

It's very difficult,
Online not possible
If you've got personal contact with branch employees they can do it for you, but again they'll have to go out of their way to do it

My advice is if your Tata Neu is not LTF then close it and get a core card,

Mine is LTF, hence don't want to close it. Besides all HDFC offers are getting applied to it and it still has no spend criteria for Lounge.
Only problem is - It's closely nit with tata ecosystem and big basket wound up operation in my city 🙁
Thanks for advice , I'll try to get friendly with branch people.
