I have raised a complaint for account closure in NSDL bank but didn't receive revert so after 30 days registered complaint in RBI ombudsman and asked for compensation for delay for more than 3 months after that I received call from Bank regarding account closure documents and RBI complaint. When I have asked for the compensation he was saying you will receive it after complaint is closed. Is he correct ?
Should I provide the documents to close the account ?

Usually the compensation is paid before the complaint is closed.
Ask in written that they are giving this much compensation.
 
Compensation is provided before closure. Once closed, bank/BO forgets who you were. Compensation amount could be decided by BO and or bank on case to case basis. Before closure banks sometimes ask for satisfaction letter from customer without which they cannot close the complaint.

You can't do anything you can only request to RBI ombudsman. Compensation is not right to you that you can forcefully demand.
 
i have made a complain in rbi obudsman can anyone tell how to add or convey additional details regarding the complain after the complain is lodged .
 
I applied fot city union bank credit card at that time my cibil was 779 They rejected my application and they did not tell the reason of rejection so I lodged the complaint to RBIO after 1 month.Today comaplaint closed by saying that what to do now ?

The bank has submitted that the credit card application is a NTB (ETC) customer - rejected due to not meeting the score card threshold limit of 693 as per policy. 2. Approval of credit card application is a commercial judgement/decision of a Regulated Entity and this office can not intervene in this matter. 3. The complaint is therefore closed as non-maintainable.

You can ask the bank to provide a copy of the credit report and take it from there.
 
But RBI closed the compliant
You can file another one.
You first ask bank to provide a copy of the credit report. Then mention the response from RBI about the minimum credit limit criterion as per their own statement, and challenge the bank. If they respond positively then good. Else file another complaint with RBI with your evidence. Both your complaints are on different subject matter. The first one was about bank not proving reason for rejection and the second one is wrongly rejecting your application.
