I'm helping my wife apply for a BOB credit card, but there's a complication. She currently has a BOB account linked to her parents' address, while her Aadhar card shows our new home address.

address on savings account doesn't matter, the address you will put during application is important

as you said, your wife's aadhar has your current address then it's ok.. you can apply with ease

Bhai agar bob ka account h to kyc bhi karna hoga kyuki jo entity card issue karti h wo bank se alag h like SBI and SBICARD?
Irrespective of that, it's very rare for banks to not do separate kyc for cc. Happens only when you have pre-approved offer on your account with the bank, otherwise irrespective of you having an account with them or not, they will usually do the kyc. Their purpose is to also do basic verification without actually naming it that.

Tell me 2-3 bank names.

For what? For doing kyc or not doing it if you have account?

I have more than half a dozen accounts and 17 credit cards, haven't had a time other than maybe Kotak which didn't ask for Kyc for white, they only confirmed details on call and asked if I wanted the card or not.

Oh, yes, axis also gave me cards by just phone calls (without any documentation/kyc at all), but I had both existing account and credit card from them, and it was pre-approved offers.

For the rest, I have had to do kyc, whether I had account, cc or both with the bank.

I didn't had to do vkyc for icici bank while applying apay cc although it wasn't pre approved.

Apay card was pre-approved for me since at that time I had other ICICI cc. But before having that card when I had applied (almost a year ago it was given basis existing ICICI cc), someone from ICICI had come to do the kyc at my home. So rest assured this is not the norm.

Fyi, I also had a decent account with ICICI at first time, second time I did not.

Moral of the story, you are trying to apply your rules on bank, that's not how it works, they will do this case by case and it's very rare for bank to not do kyc, so never assume it without confirmation.

I applied for the BOB LTF Easy Rupay CC around 15 days ago and the VKYC was done the very next day. 2 days later, the tracking status showed that they wanted me to email them a few more documents, which I did immediately.
Haven't heard from them since, no phone call, no email, nothing.

The tracker is still showing the same status, asking me to send some more documents even after sending it to them 13 days ago.

Can someone please guide how to go about this?

BOB has worst application process. Even after sending them current address proof, the fools are still asking to share the current address proof again and again.

Applied for card. VKYC was done next day.
For last 10 days, status shows "We have received your application and it is under process"
Any idea how long this takes.

If you send mail crm@bobfinancial.com, they will make it fast

I applied on 14th Nov and approved on 25th Nov. First they rejected my application and I asked reason. They mentioned different bank name and they didn't check my statements properly. I said to check properly. Then they approved it on the same day
