How to block unwanted text message on Iphone

Hi, I want to block unwanted messages and also want to block future messages from same sender. Is there any easy way to do it just like google message has?
Please help, I received lots of unwanted kachra messages everyday.

If it’s from a mob no then u can block the number
But if it’s from bank like sender I mean prefix with something then no way other than deleting after receipt

I just enable "hide alerts" for such senders, there'll be no notifications from them but still messages will be in inbox.

We can block from iOS too. Click on sender name, click on the icon, final step you will see an option to block the sender.

I have blocked few senders like this. Are you saying we get messages even after blocking them?

block a non number message(button becomes Unblock this caller), go back & then click on “info” button, the button will be again Block this caller

Oh lol, didn’t see that. Now I see that even the sender name doesn’t appear on contact’s info.
Not used to such bugs in iOS so didn’t think of double checking 😀

You can use Junkman for SMS and Begone for calls.

Is begone for blocking calls good? I’m not finding any reviews for it in App Store. Have you used it personally and what is your experience using it? Truecaller for ios is absolute junk.

Begone works flawlessly, but you have to manually enter numbers. It supports wildcards, allowing you to easily block a series of numbers. To block a series of numbers, for example, enter 98765##### and it will block all numbers beginning with 98765.

Begone also has its own contact list, which is useful when you want to save someone's number but don't want to open their WhatsApp story accidentally. 😛
When they call you, you will still see their name, but not anywhere else.

Personally, I use both Truecaller Premium and Begone.

Truecaller premium works slightly better on iOS than the free version, but it is still inferior to the Android version. Like YouTube, I believe they intentionally made it unusable without a premium subscription on iOS.
