How to change mobile number in sbicard without existing mobile number

My friend have sbicard octane BPCL card he lost his mobile number 7 months back he lost his mobile number which is linked to sbi cards now he want to change to new mobile number to receive the otps and statement messages but he unable to change to new mobile number without existing mobile number via ivr so any ways to change his mobile number

I think he can try aadhar otp method to change the number. If not mail to contactchange@sbicard.com they will ask for some kyc documents and it will changed.

he already sent mail to contactchange@sbicard.com but he got reply as we are unable to change contact details due to internal policy like that
may be he missed payments from last 3 months outstanding amount around 4800 only
