How to convert Amex gold or MRCC to LTF ?

Amex stopped offering LTF cards a while back.
They were being offered as companion cards so if you had a Plat Travel card, you could possibly get MRCC LTF but even that's stopped now.
Only the Platinum Charge card holders get companion cards these days.
The first year is completely free to apply if you get invited by someone, I would suggest getting the card like that.
Depending on your expenses and experience, you can decide to continue or not.
The MRCC card can get you 24,000 MR points and is free for the first year! That's 2-3 nights in the Marriott hotel for free!
And the second year fees is just ₹1500 which also gets waived off depending on your expenses so it's a great deal. 🙂
