How to convert Regalia Gold to LTF

Hello guys.
My card renewal is due next month (was FYF) and I would like to convert it to LTF or atleast downgrade the card to some other LTF card.
I have Swiggy LTF and Tata Neu Infinity FYF also.
I have minimal spends on these cards in past year. I am having a high NRV in form of saving bank account.
Whom should I contact to convert both these cards to LTF? Branch or via Email?
My RM is stupid and never calls me back when I have any query that is for my benefit. She only calle me for loan/investment etc.
Please suggest

Much better cards out there. I don't find Regalia Gold rewarding at all for 2500. It's only good for priority pass.

for DCB, they would need at least 6L (or 4/5L, not sure) spends in last 6 months.. and even then it would be FYF

For converting card to LTF, you need to have spends more than 50% of fee waiver (approx) within 6/7 months. Eg: People have spent 2L in 4/6 months from Millennia and then have asked for LTF conversion (as fee waiver is at 1L).

So, either spend everything via the card (upwards 12L) in around 1 year and then ask for RG LTF or try for DCB FYF route (so that you dont have to pay the fees).

If you cancel it, you might not easily get a core card again since you hold co-branded cards

This won't be a straight forward process. Try to exchange 3-4 mails. Mention your banking relation and cc spends (i hope you atleast have spent good amount)

yeah, it takes 4/5 mails (at least) and they reply after 1 week and so, timeline is around 1 month. You need to show them good spending and good banking.

I have written an email yesterday and renewal fees had been posted to my card account today. Card was issued in october. What can I do now?

Pay the fee, put good spends on it for next 6 months and then try again

I would recommend you to keep this card for now

I would recommend you to keep this card for now

HDFC has no value for high NRV and old relationships. I would rather keep my money in some other bank like BOB and make my Eterna LTF.

If you're hell bent on closing thus card, complain to grievance redressal email about some issues (Low credit limt, low rewards, something else you can think of i don't know)
And then ask them reverse the fee and close this card
