How to fetch the best benefits from HDFC salary account with 1.8L per month net salary?

TF Premier
Hi All,
I want to open a salary account with HDFC. My monthly salary is 1.8L after all the deductions.
I don't hold any other account with HDFC or any of their CC.
I went to the branch today and they offered the following without me negotiating for anything:
1) Premium salary account.
2) Visa Platinum Debit Card.
3) DCB with fee.

I had done some reading on this forum before going to the branch, so that I could ask for other benefits as well.

For DCB, they mentioned the fee, but when I asked for DCB LTF, they said "Not possible, but I will try my best".
When I mentioned "Preferred" account type, they said we are giving you premium salary account and both are same.
When I mentioned EasyShop Preferred Platinum Debit Card, they said "Visa Platinum DC" is same.
I'm not quite sure about their above responses, if these are true.
I told them that I need some time to take a decision, and will revert back.
I felt like they are under-offering, I could be wrong though!

Based on my stats, could you folks please suggest that how and what benefits I can fetch/negotiate wrt better DC, LTF CC, account type, etc.?

Thanks!

Look bro i will get to straight :

Branch people are trying to fool you. You will get nothing from them. They are not only under offering but also offering nothing .

All those feature as told to you by branch people are easily available in hdfc saving max account.

And about the Credit card of hdfc first analyze your spending pattern ask first question yourself and the question is that

" Do you want HDFC as your main driving card or just want to hdfc specific offer " ?

Then decide according

Go for ICICI or some other bank.

Check Axis

What should have been the offer from them?
Or what should I ask for?
About the last question, I want HDFC as my main driving CC, especially looking for LTF premium CCs.

If you are employed, It depends on multiple factors like your company's name/status, number of employees, whether they have bank tie-up or not

If there is a tie-up with HDFC, ask your HR if they share Company RM's number

they might get you better cards on acc opening... The people you talked to are trying to under sell everything so that after 2-3 months, they can ask you to invest for getting those cards/benefits (which you are already eligible)

DCB would be little tough, but you can get other cards as LTF easily

I did some reading on this forum, there is close competition between HDFC and Axis. I came across this response as well, where HDFC was preferred over Axis: https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/salary-account-recommendation.2676/post-47069
If you want good loan rates and offers, the best in industry Internet Banking, and related facilities, go for the ICICI Bank Savings account.

And if you solely targeting the HDFC Premium Card, then Open the Premium Salary account, use the Platinum DC, and wait for the Preapproved CC offer. (They are very quick for the Preapproved CC Offers, you will get DCB LTF, no issues.)

Avoid Axis at all.

if you want pre approved offers for all types of Loans & a free LTF credit card then go with HDFC .
Axis only for Credit card
ICICI overall good , their net banking surpasses all banks
Kotak is also a decent offering

You can get hdfc premium credit card with out salary account and ultra premium cards are always charged in hdfc bank, my suggestion is to go with IDFC bank (or RBL) Bank where you can get best interest rates and privilege banking program like select, wealth and private and premium credit cards like wealth card, also it is a zero charge account if you discontinue it as salary account in future if any change of mind.
