How to get MRCC as a companion card with an Amex Gold Charge

Hi , i recently got a gold charge card, customer care is saying companion card is offer only card, how do i get MRCC as companion card? or if i take a gold addon card, will the 1000 reward points for 1000x6 transitions apply for addon card also ?

how do i get MRCC as companion card - Earlier Amex used to offer lower variant of amex card as free now they have discountinue and it Paid so you can apply for new amex card using anyone referral link and get MRCC

MRCC and Gold charge card points do merge whether it's companion or not

Yes platinum points are always separate. I'm sure about MRCC and gold combination as using this combo since past few years actually

- Platinum charge not sure. The type of card and the fee associated, it's gotta be different.

yeah for gold and mrcc, i already knew. for plantium and gold both have separate customer id that i had mentioned before.

Please describe how you use both Gold and MRCC together. I have MRCC and would like to get Plat Travel or Gold but only if I can be guaranteed that I can keep MRCC as companion.

Did you see an option for companion card during the online application process? Or was it supplementary card? (amex calls add on cards as supplementary cards).

It was companion card, I remember seeing MRCC as an option but i made mistake thinking it would be extra paid card.

WILL AMEX MRCC addon card(supplementary) also accrue 1000 points separately on 4 transaction of 1500 or it will be common to primary card

Primary and addone 1000 MR Point Credited will be counted only once!

Companion cards aren't being offered normally at the moment.

Until and unless you have an offer on email or get a call from their team, but you can apply for them separately on the website with a fresh application!
