How to Get Your First US Amex Credit Card—No SSN or ITIN Required!

What's the reliable and easiest way to get US address. As I don't think Airbnb and all work. So it needs to be a lease or something?

And what would be the best option for a bank account. I was looking for some options but all the reliable ones are brokerage account which requires a ITIN

Applied for Blue Cash Preferred - Aug 2023 - requested for address proof.
Green card - Jan/Feb 2024 - approved instantly
Blue Cash Everyday - Sep 2024. - approved instantly

Everything will be considered as new account and can't club with others.
What do you mean by everything will be considered as a new account? Also when applying for the second card did you give reference to the first card that you already hold? All cards have same contact details?

On the 2nd screen it asked me if the address I entered was correct, I wanted to make a slight adjustment so I clicked NO, and I was redirected to this screen. Will share an update once I have it.

The card was approved after calling the support team and providing them with Address Proof.
Sincere thanks to @TechnoFino and @moneyMaker for their guidance.

Hello TFCians,

Want to get a US American Express credit card? You can transfer your Indian Amex relationship to the US and get your first US Amex credit card easily. For this process, you don’t need an SSN or ITIN. This option is only available for your first card. For a second card, you’ll need an ITIN or SSN and a US credit score.

The Process:
  1. Visit the Amex global relationship transfer link: Global Card Relationship Transfer.
  2. Select the USA from the country list, as you want to apply for a US Amex card.
  3. On the next page, choose "Personal Card" or "Business Card" based on your requirements.
  4. A new tab will open. Click on "Log In" at the top right corner and log in using your Indian Amex account credentials.
  5. Choose the card you want to apply for and click "Apply."
  6. On the next page, you’ll see a disclaimer stating that Amex US will access your Indian data; click "Yes" to proceed.

  7. Your name and date of birth should appear pre-filled, as Amex US is fetching data from your Indian Amex account.
  8. Check the box for "I don’t have a Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) but can enter a government-issued ID number," and select "Passport" from the dropdown menu.

  9. Enter your passport details, US address, US phone number, income, and other required information.
  10. Click "Agree & Submit."
  11. One of two things can happen next: you may be approved immediately (rare) or asked to contact Amex by phone, with a number provided.
  12. Use Skype to call the US toll-free number for free.
  13. They may request a passport copy via an upload link or address proof, or they may just verify your details without additional documents.
  14. You’ll receive Amex’s decision within a few minutes, though it can take up to 72 hours.
Good luck with your application!

Disclaimer: This is for Indians traveling to the USA. If you are a resident of India, this thread may not be relevant t
Just spoke to customer care and they said they are not issuing the cards anymore due to RBI regulations. It broke my heart.

@TechnoFino
1. Has anyone successfully and recently transferred MR points to US Amex acc ? What was the ratio and any hiccups ?
2. I have access to a virtual registered agent/post for my US company and access to a friend/wife's friend too, which would be better to use to receive the card ?
3. Anyone else also faced same response as @Fabanana
