How to improve CIBIL beyond 807

sjmajumder

TF Legend
I had CIBIL score of 820 when I took a car loan in 2019 which brought down my CIBIL straight to 798 (not sure why such a big drop). Canara Bank did make 2 hits by mistake and refused to remove it. They made the first hit for personal loan (LMAO) whereas I applied for car loan. Later when they realized they made another hit for car loan for same amount and even debited my account by Rs. 55 as charge for the same which again they refused to reverse.

I never missed any EMI and closed my 7 years loan in 2 years. But ever since then my CIBIL moves between 802 to 807. Never gone beyond 807 ever after that.

How can I improve it further. Any suggestions? Please help 🙂

I am asking isn't that should be Crorepatni.
No, it shouldn't be.
Like the way, it's human but not huwoman, similarly mankind but not womankind, man-made but not woman made, etc. and so on.

Crorepati means the person who has wealth, not less than 1 crore. Crorepati as a noun has nothing to do with gender or relationship of husband or wife.

You have misunderstood by its usage, because husband & wife are called pati & patni respectively in hindi. This doesn't mean, crorepatani should be used in case of woman or wife. If you feel why it's so, please go and ask Britishers.😂

You don't know Hindi, do you?😉

P.S: Earlier reply was meant to crack a joke and also was a result of misunderstanding based on previous interaction. Sorry, if you (@techt) felt bad.

Received a call from RBI ombudsman office Kolkata last Thursday.

She asked "is the problem resolved"
I replied "What about the harassment?"
She said "I am only asking about the issue now as bank has written to us that they have resolved your issue"
Me: "Yes, issue has been rectified"
She: "OK. Let me see what you have asked for"
Me: "OK"

Status of the complaint is still the same on RBI website.
Haha 😂 really? Customer - Centricity is lacking.

Bro,
I didn't reply as it was getting late for my bed time and don't want to derail this thread.
Every day this TF forum is putting me in lot of dilemmas. If I don't write Fintos think I got offended and if I write SuMos think I am spamming. This situation should never come to any Finto.

The crore-patni was a funny dig.I am aware that the Sanskrit 'pati' means 'the one who owns' irrespective of gender. But in usage most of us associate male gender to it. This happens in many languages, the real meaning is one but the usage is something else. Inflammable in English means flame-able but even the learned thought 'in' as a antonym suffix to flame-able and firefighters indeed mistook gasoline like inflammable liquids for fire hydrants. Later even though incorrect English started to use Flammable for inflammable.

Also 'Shrimati' is not a word in Sanskrit. It is just 'Shri". Honorifics are genderless in Sanskrit. We say Shri Maha Lakshmi for the goddess wealth not Shrimati Maha Lakshmi. During the British colonial rule, we adopted Shrimati for mistress.

I recollect one more story about this pati. When we had our first female president, one of our Telugu newspaper had a small snippet about how to address female president. Even though rashtrapati is correct rashtrarajni would have been more appropriate. rajna means raja aka king and rajni means rani. One of the mandala in RigVeda is DashaRajna meaning the Ten Kings.

Lets leave this lingo - bingo here.

Coming back to the topic.
OP can go for offline method. Take a printout of CIBIL enquiry form and fill it with Apsara pencil in neat handwriting, send to the concerned. Apsara writing gives +5 marks/points and that must suffice for the OP's concern.

I was referring to the same, compensation is must for such behaviour bro. Will wait for upcoming updates...😁

Happy to let you all know that I have received a compensation of Rs. 10,000 from Canara Bank. This is in addition to resolving the ROI problem. On 2nd April Rs. 10,000 was credited to my account. Today I got closure mail from RBI Ombudsman.

Congrats on the feat. I would suggest to create a new post for this. This is a good win and many should be aware of it. The original post has nothing to do with this and might get ignored while this should be shared and learned by more. No one cares about auto-renewal FDs and its interest scenarios.

For the incorrect Personal Loan too, you should write to the bank once again asking for removal. Ask them where have you provided the consent to make the enquiry for the personal loan. And if they just deny everything, simply mail RBI for this too.

This same happened to me with Axis. While getting a CC from Axis, they created personal loan enquiry along with credit card enquiry. Their PNO intern support team were not able to understand english in few mails and then I simply asked them to share the consent I provided for personal loan enquiry. The next mail from them was we are suppressing the enquiry.

Agree on your first point...will post a new thread.

Second one, it's now almost 5 years old. Doesn't even reflect in my CIBIL anymore. The complaint this time was due to the cumulative effect of all the negative past experiences.

I hope they will learn a lesson and will start treating customers with the respect we deserve. Don't show me attitude when I ask for service - that is all I want.
