How to reschedule a flight that was booked via smart buy?

I m not able to modify the booking and it shows only cancel as option

Call Smartbuy helpline. Ask them if they can reschedule.
You can also contact the OTA

isliye..mujhe smartbuy/ishop/traveledge jayda pasand nahi hai... ota se panga lena waise hi itna mushkil hota hai..n abb yeh ota ke upar ek aur aggregator...

smaertbuy valo ko ungali karo..dekho kya bolte hai... issue solve hojaye toh batana bhai

I have had to deal with rescheduling and cancelations a few times and the biggest problem is: in India, unless you have a very expensive ticket, rescheduling/cancel is almost as bad as no show

I have sent mail to grievance redressal for rescheduling. Will update based on their response

Ota is Goibibo so will check with them as well

You can also call smartbuy, some agents will get the stuff done immediately, some will say "I have sent a message to the partner" I generally call back in about an hour after that.

I remember @Zacobite suggesting an insurance to cancel flights with full refund. That's the best way to book in smartbuy i guess. That way you can cancel and book new ticket.

One more issue I found was, if the OTA has 3 ticket pricing options (like saver, regular etc), Smartbuy provides only the first option, so one might not even get checkin luggage. When contacted, customer support just said that's the way the software works currently, sorry for the inconvenience.

Same smart buy has reschedule and cancellation insurance option.. Its fantastic.. I always use it.. Can cancel upto 24 hrs
