How to upgrade from Regalia to Regalia Gold?

I have been a user of my current regalia card for the past 5 years and so far I haven't gotten an upgrade offer to Regalia Gold, How can I go about asking for an upgrade?

I am surprised how Nobody has noticed till date that HDFC has kept the Regalia users locked onto the card without limit upgrades or Card upgrades even after meeting spend criteria. It is clearly a case of discrimination.

I requested twice before but they rejected my application to upgrade to Regalia Gold. They have also increased the business income and salary criteria for the card. Again, a lot of other credit card users have god the Regalia GOLD LTF (just search this forum).

I have recently sent an email to provide the clear reasons and not cite "internal policies" as to why I am not eligible even with the profile I have with the bank.

PS: email the PNO. It may help. All other credit card departments are useless.

Writing and escalating to pno and priority redressal should help. Recently hdfc super premium and icici epm have raised their criteria for new application as well as for upgrades.
But if email doesn't work try taking help from Hdfc cc agents at your nearest branch and submit manual form to be sent to Chennai for processing

I would rather close my card than sending documents to their office

Your statement is accurate. I have been made to feel as if HDFC credit card department are my bosses. They decide my type of spends? My next email will be to RBI because I have a strong case (I feel) based on credit history, other credit cards and spends.

Just check the number of post of regalia holders looking to upgrade.
