Hi Friends,

hp pay app load wallet via credit card which card is having zero charges kindly share your experience about the rewards/CB for this transactions.

FYI my holding cards are SC Manhattan, HDFC Regalia, IndusInd Legend and ICICI Apay as well as LTF Coral.

Guys update as of 6th july 2024:
Recently, ICICI has disable fuel transactions on their fastags. DYOR before loading bulk amt in ICICI tags

You need to login to ICICI etoll website using your fastag customer ID and password. It will show up fuel enabled yes or no in one of the tag detail menu options

Regarding your question on fastag recharge via apay... I have tried idbi and idfc till now and both work... So yours might work too... Which bank are you holding?

I'm holding Amazonpay ICICI fastag and assumed (😅) that only it allows recharge via Apay balance

I also hold the Apay ICICI fastag the old one which allows recharge through apay, gives 1% and allows fuel payments too. It was the best while it lasted.

I don't know if that's different from normal ICICI fastag.

It depends upon Fastag issuing bank, you must be trying for Airtel/Bajaj/Livquik. Idfc and icici both are currently allowed from apay.

Yesterday, I tried to make payment via HP Pay. Petrol pump didn't had HP Pay QR but he is kind of known to us so I requested him to generate the same via their HPCL-Paytm POS machine and he did but after scanning the same, HP Pay showed Plaza code not found.

Fuel payment is enabled for my fastag and it's working if you directly make payment via Pos as mentioned in https://www.technofino.in/community/threads/icici-fastag-fuel-payment-direct.29535/

@Sriim @Wealth is my birth right! IDFC Bank Fastag isn't working on my nearest HPCL pump. On the date of my tagged message, it didn't work and I even visited today but again it wasn't working. On the other hand, ICICI BANK is working smoothly.

Did you try other hpcl pumps too? For ICICI I heard that there are issues nowadays to activate it for petrol..what steps did you follow to activate it for fuel?

Just email to ICICI customer care to enable fuel payment for your ICICI Fastag.

Fastags from ICICI's website can be used for fuel payments you need to enable it from the portal. New Amazon Pay ICICI fastags can't be used for fuel payments

App sometimes get updated post which we can see the tag option live
