HSBC credit card application decline. Need help.

Today, I applied for an HSBC credit card. After completing the application form, my request was declined without any explanation. Could anyone provide possible reasons for the rejection and advise on how to successfully obtain an HSBC card in the future?
call cc.. hsbc will decline for some silly reason.. they will give you details and start the application.. but be ready for 2nd cibil hit... typical hsbc

... Could anyone provide possible reasons...
If you are Self-Employed, a Professional practicing lawyer/doctor/architect/ auditor.... your application will not go thru.
ITR of even 20L will be of no use. Other bank cards - even if with 10L+ limits - are of NO help either.

But, a salaried guy - with only 4L salary - can get their card.

I took up the case n my fight is still on.

What's your status ?

Self employed professional /business.

How you get this with self employed??? Any hack??
It is NOT possible for non-salaried class (retired, housewife, student, self employed.....) to get HSBC Cards, as of now.
Despite having good ITR figures.
I know a couple of guys who have submitted doctored dox to show some amount as salaries and got their cards.

The only other approved way is to open an account with them and talk to the BM to push for getting a card. The problem
with this approach is that it is a must to have their branch in our city/town - which is a very limiting factor.
