these days the financial institutions are not keeping up to their words even for the successful appliations...
Here HSBC throwing away a small gesture gift even for those who just found sometime to apply for their cards...

I have applied for HSBC Cashback on Friday i.e. 10th May and completed the vkyc the same day with all the documents attached properly and also verified my account using account aggregator.

But still there is no progress on the application, is HSBC that much slow in the process and when can I expect the card.

Either way its still giving 250 rs for rejected applications, I think it just knows that how much hard its application process is and hence rewarding the people going through all this process. Had it been an Indian bank I would have got the card delivered till now.

It can take up to 21 working days.
No process to track it.

Just wait.

They have kind of wierd policies. They have declined my application due to mismatch in company name on my payslip and application. Customer care team only confirmed that my application is rejected but are clueless about the reason and asked me to wait. Later i got a call from them asking me to drop an email for the confirmation of my company name. So, its like they put the application on hold but not like rejected i guess.

Btw, did they mention you the reason for rejection?

No .. most likey very high recent enquiries and / or High leverage.
Not bothered to ask them . I will apply after 6 months again ..

received the same around 05:20 PM today, although my application was not rejected I didn't proceed further with application. They were asking for 3 month salary slip and bank statement, so I decided not to continue with the application.

I am just nervous about rejection. I have heard on other threads where people even got rejection after getting the card delivered.

If it gets rejected I would have to wait for another 30-45 days for the application to reset.

But the rejection would be compensated with 250rs gv 😂.
