Wondering why haven't I received the same. Mine got rejected after vKyc in April. I am being told that I can apply after 30 days ( will reapply offline on 21st may), hoping for approval this time.

Faced rejection while appliying Indusind,HSBC,AU,OneCard and Federal card most probably due to high no of credit enquiries in last few months (thanks to HDFC).

When did you get the message?
To check if the card is approved you can call the CC and ask them (There would be an IVR option to check application status that doesn't work so please choose the option to know about new product and you will be directed to an executive).
Also check the HSBC Mobile app if you are able to sign up.

Check this for my entire timeline from application to card being delivered in detail.

Did Vkyc on 17th and then no update and one day later got email that its declined due to incorrect information in application. next day their agent called and asked me to send email confirming to update the details on application and then today evening got msg , just logged into hsbc app and asked customer card and they told card will be delivered in 4 working days
