Noticed this few minutes ago!

HSBC Credit card is now live on BBPS.

Make full use of your card and pay using known portals using DC to get 1% CB on your bills 😛

I was able to pay more than due amount in my HSBC card using unipay. Amount posted on 2nd day after payment both times, much faster than previous months

It went live in Sept around 2nd week itself and did multiple payments via Unipay & Canara set and both got credited in 2 working days.

This is really stupid,

whats the point of BBPS then?
my last date is 16th oct

i paid my bill on 11th 10pm

so will it reflect on time? or will i have to pay some penalty charges?
already received SMS from HSBC about payment confirmation, but SMS also said it will be reflected after 2 working days

It'll be reflected on time. It just takes time to show in your account

I never log in to unipay when paying. Strangely got an sms from hsbc about payment. So it may have gone through.

Today I paid my HSBC bill using SBI unipay, It was not able to fetch the bill automatically, however I could enter amount manually, It was credited almost instantly to the account.

Are you sure it was credited almost instantly? I just paid my bill via UniPay and this wasn't the case.

You will get the instant message from HSBC that they have received the payment & your CL restored, It will take 2 working days in reflect in the account statement just like every other bank.

General observation after 2 bill payments done for HSBC in Sept & Oct - the settlement happens very next business day.
So if bill is paid on Friday/Saturday then credit reflects on Monday while if it is paid between Monday to Thursday the credit reflects by next day EOD.

Above might vary or changed to instant credit recently since I made last payment on 3rdt Oct.

Got the below msg now

HSBC : We have received a payment of INR 6000.00 on your Card ending xxxx on 14/10/2024. This will reflect on your Card account in 2 working days.

In my case, I made on Saturday. Still not reflecting in account. Someone else mentioned that limit gets adjusted soon after payment. Even thats not true.

Yes payment SMS will receive almost instantly whereas the payment got settled in 3 days for me
