I am Once again looking for a Perfect UPI App - Query & Discussion

rimtesh

TF Premier
These are my priorities in the same order
1. Fast payments and reliability
2. Option to turn off screen lock
3. Customisable upi id, and single upi id for all accounts
4. Default payment methods according to amount entered, I would want upi lite to be the default if amount is less than 100, if it's a merchant account and if rupay cc is accepted then rupay cc else my primary bank account

Bro..i am using paytm as primary (they do not sell any data) and backup is gpay. If you are okay with different upi id for each account then you can make phonepe as primary and paytm as backup
Yep, go with Paytm even I'm using this app as primary.

Once they release UPI PPI wallet and also Digital Rupee (CBDC) integration it will be a full fledged financial app along with other services.

I'm also waiting for the two features in paytm app

Any app which gives option to sort between cc and bank to find date wise or month wise Total transaction value.

Gpay has this option but date wise is not available only month wise or last 30/90 days.

Hey, you mean filter transaction by payment source like different banks or credit cards along with date range?

If yes, Paytm has this and can view transaction and filter transactions

I guess the limit is for two years.. not sure.. please check.

people still using paytm 🤔
please let me know if someone find an app which gives some cashback on upi spends (Not card specific)
jupiter gives some jewels that i know. Supermoney now gives in decimal

bhai..main bhi doondh raha hoon solution....
There's an option to turn off sound effects in upi settings

Paytm is the one i am using because it's one of the best for me
Only inconvinences are : they added a shitty animation while scanning which isn't required at all
Ads are all over the place, while paying a credit card bill i accidentally purchased a 99rs insurance because it was opt out instead of opt-in

One more issue, phonepe used to such stupid things : they would obfuscate upi id and phone number of receiver if number is not saved even when the payment was made by entering mobile number or upi id, sheer stupidity
Paytm does something similar, i copy a upi id, open paytm app, click on pay and paste the upi id: sometimes i can't enter amount and can only type and send a note, generating a qr code for the same upi id and scanning works

NPCI'S guideline to redirect all payments to upi linked with phone number is very appreciable, i remember writing a mail to npci about the same but there's still a flow, every app now spams the user by dialogs to get them to switch upi linked number and most people simply click the giant green button

One good thing about phonepe, it shows you entry of txn in your txn history if the sender used phonepe to send money

I am half asleep now :/
