Don’t believe in anything said by the HSBC RM or customer care. On multiple occasions in the past, I was informed that certain transactions would not be eligible for cashback, yet I eventually received the cashback for them.

But I have received cashback in Oct for the utility spends done in August.

Yes but HSBC site also hasn't mentioned utility as exclusion for spends. I think best way to checkout is pay some genuine utility bill and cross verify 60 day later

problem with HSBC is there is no way to track if you will get cashback or not .. waiting 2-3 months to know if got cashback or not is itself a scam .. HSBC should improve its tech and atleast show transaction cashback amount once they are settled .. its fine if they credit after 90 days .. but showing breakup upfront will help

Which payment gateway you used on goodscore app ?

some people told phonepe gateway is eligible and some people told razorpay gateway is eligible. I think both gateway is eligible.

50-50 answer i got. Some people got they got 5% cb and some people told they dnt received 5% cb.

The last CB was credited on Oct for the spends done on August. I can confirm that spends on EbixCash got CB. But many people are saying MCC 4900 is no longer eligible. We will know after 2 months.

Bro any update on this? Do we still get 5% cashback on credit card bill payment using HSBC debit card that comes with EBS salary account?
I am done with ICICI and with Regalia Gold, I am mostly done with HDFC as well.

For salary account, I just need to decide between Axis Burgundy (we get burgundy for 2L salary) or HSBC EBS (not premier, it needs 3L)
I feel HSBC (name wise MNC bank) quality of service should be better than Axis. But all other problems mentioned above still exists.
Need to decide between Axis burgundy, HSBC EBS (or just continue with HDFC Preferred)

For salary account, the criteria for Premier is getting hiked from 3 to 3.5L per month from Jan 2026 onwards. 🔥
