This is in no way to support Flipkart, but what's so special about them in this regard? This problem is ubiquitous, -- both online and offline. Happens all the time in Amazon as well. Other examples abound:
Once I had purchased a pair of shoes from a Bata shop at an enticing 'discount', -- only to find out later that the printed MRP was hiked beforehand for the 'sale'! The actual MRP was quite a bit lower, as found in other Bata stores around. Amul products are often sold in some localities at higer than MRP since Amul apparently don't offer sufficient commission to the sellers. ... And so on.
