ICICI AST YES for completing vkyc

I had applied for Icici platinum chip card through their website, today i got call from +912268974800, he said vkyc is not complete send message as AST YES and he asked pan details and address and all...
Has anyone experienced the same??
I called customer care but they said they don't know if that number is from Icici or not, and said to visit branch for confirmation.
 
Already holding ICICI Amzpay with 6.2 lac limit , applied for ICICI LTF platinum card with the sole reason of availing benefit during online sales as amzpay is of no use but to the surprise, application got declined. Also they made two CIBIL enquiry of 1.5 lac each one for credit card and other for a personal loan. totally disgusting also the customer care is worst. On calling it connected to amzpay customer care and they say they have no info regarding ICICI general Credit Cards
Same thing happened to me....

Did you enter your amazon pay card details in the IVR ? I use bank account related menu & authenticate with bank account number & tell the agent to connect my call to credit card department.

I have faced same issue.. they repeated twice in last 2 week. First in June 1st week and then again last friday called me saying some technical issue and they don't have data for my application. Then again data verification and vkyc, and completed all steps. Now again checking status, it showing no data. Not sure what is happening as both the time I got the vkyc email from Assitedcc@icicibank.com and seems authentic. But both the time the kyc was same executive.

I think ICICI agents doing some kind of malpractice bcz I had to go thru the same , applied online uploaded all the documents on the website still got call for uploading documents again, and sending SMS for KYC did all as requested but in the end my application got rejected also my CIBIL has an unnecessary inquiry of Rs1.5 lac for credit card and Rs 1.5lac for personal loan.. Following up to remove the loan inquiry 3 weeks passed but no success

Same things happened to me when I applied about 1 month ago.

They did a cibil enquiry for 1.5L loan !

I raised a complain on twitter , which they promised to solve but did nothing.

So i escalated the same complain again on twitter 5 days ago.
They called and promised to solve the matter in 5 days.

The very next day i got a cibil enquiry of 10k for credit card .

and finally today got confirmation sms that my card is approved.
