ICICI Bank credit card status

Hi,

I applied for an ICICI Bank credit card, and my application was rejected. A few days later, I got a call from ICICI that they were checking the application status again.
Yesterday i got a SMS from ICICI

Your new ICICI Bank Credit Card will be delivered in 7 wkg days.
The Virtual Card is accessible through iMobile/Net Banking. Activate & use the same instantly.

I didn't found any card in my ICICI App. I spoke to customer care they said there is no card my account, But if i got the sms Virtual card will take 48 hours time to appear.

So, is the card approved or not?

Check it must be visible on internet banking. It will take upto 24 hours to see on mobile app.

I have applied for ICICI Bank Visa Platinum Card via their campaign link on Instagram, after submitting the form one ICICI Bank Executive called me and helped me to fill the complete application, she told me that your company is on our tie-up list so you'll get better card at LTF so I've applied for Coral Card in Rupay Variant, after that Video KYC was done. Then after 4 days I got a call from another ICICI Bank executive she asked me my address, office address, etc. Then Next day, I got a text message saying 'ICICI Bank is unable to approve your card, please apply again after 6 months". So, what should I do now? I have all the documents ready with me, not sure why they rejected my application.

I really needed that card for ICICI Bank Instant discount offers, so can anyone please help me out what should I do next? Should I dm them on twitter or call them or mail nodal officer(please share the mail id also) or contact the verification officer who called me, if anybody can help me with this, it will be really helpful! please help me with how can I tell them to reverify once again with the same application?

Doesn't help. My applications were rejected few times. ICICi agents say you will definitely get this card then it's rejected.
Better to wait for 6 months and apply through Branch.

but can I try contacting the Principal Nodal Officer, telling him the scenario and with attaching all the documents(application form, payslip, other credit card statement, etc.) and asked him to reverify it once?
(Because I really needed that card for some upcoming electronics purchases and don't wanna wait for 6 months)

Nothing wrong in trying. I tried many times and got the same reply due to internal policies blah blah try after six months or approach nearest branch and get FD based Instant Credit Card.

Contact them via email and ask for rejection reason. As per Rbi rule banks can't deny the rejection reason.

Btw never ever apply any cards via agents, even if they sitting inside the banks. Always apply directly from bank website.

Same message received me can you tell how much time take to reflect card in imobile

Once you get the card, You have to add the card manually.
