GOOD NEWS right in the morning! Got sms/email about Card usage settings applied on your Credit Card ending with xxxx. I was ecstatic! So my ICICI Sapphiro Amex+MC (Dual Variant) to VISA conversion was approved!

After 40 mins or so, card showed up in iMobile App. Enabled online transactions and did transaction with all 3 ICICI Sapphiro Credit Cards (VISA / AMEX / MC) and I can confirm that my all 3 cards are active and running! So, finally holding 3 variants of Sapphiro LTF! Double benefits hehe! Check this screenshot.

Somehow it doesn't show Sapphiro VISA written over there, it shows ICICI Credit Card generic image, however I am damn sure it is that variant, since somebody in this forum itself is having a similar-looking image. Will confirm once I receive my CC + Dreamfolks Card.

So, to summarize, yes you can hold all 3 variants of Gemstone Cards of ICICI. Go ahead and request a conversion from their Twitter Team. If they denies, just request again. Hope some agent will comply. You can also request it by calling ICICI Customer support. And yes, they will say that your existing card will be cancelled. Just say 'Okay, No problem, Go ahead'. One-Two day later, again you will receive a call and again you will hear the same words, they will mail you too, about existing card cancelation post upgrade. Don't worry! All 3 variants will be active.

Even my visa Sapphiro looks same in red colour.mailed them asking same and also if I'm not wrong you won't be able to see CVV also

Alright folks, was going through the last few pages and found some common queries regarding variant change and holding 3 variants of Sapphiro CC. Summarizing it for all:

If you hold VISA variant of any ICICI Gemstone Card (RubyX, Sapphiro, Emeralde), then you can opt for variant change to Dual variant (MC+Amex). And vice versa, from Dual to VISA.

ICICI Bank, on conversion of VISA to Dual, or vice versa, DOES NOT close the old variant. So, you can keep all 3 variants with you.

How to do?

Request ICICI Customer support on Twitter. They will call you. In the call, they will tell you that your old variant will be closed. Don't worry, Just confirm it, and see the magic. Within a few days, new variant card will be generated and sent to you. All 3 variants will be active. You will also get another Dreamfolks card.

(Sometimes customer support may deny conversion, just request again. Its just that customer support agent is non-co-operative.)

Now, summarizing the bad news from this thread: oFr some users, ICICI have closed old variant cards after new variant card delivery. But before closure, they always call you to tell you about your new card benefits. So, post card delivery, do not accept any calls from ICICI Bank for some weeks. There is at least one incident where even without picking up this call, the old card got disabled. I would say that is pure bad luck. Rest up to you. Anyways this variant change is NOT a one-time thing, you can request conversion anytime again.

For me all 3 variants active as of now (3 weeks passed post delivery of card). I still get calls from ICICI bank occasionally (once in 3-4 days), I pickup and then don't respond anything, until they cut the call.

Can someone confirm if BMS AMEX card gives cashback? Did anyone actually got it?
ALso someone pls confirm if you got tata cliq 500rs voucher on 1st transaction on AMEX variant?

Usually this much time won't be taken by icici.
Have you missed any call from cc after you applied for the card
 
Anyone used Amex variant on BMS for b1g1? Did you get cashback? I am still waiting for someone to use it as I am not sure if we get cashback in case of amex!

When you have all 3 variants, y don't you book full quota of 2 BOGOs with Visa variant for instant discount?

There are multiple ICICI Twitter accounts. Please tell me which account is to be texted.
 
I already do that. Since I hold all 3 variants, i book b2g2 using visa and B1G1 using mastercard. So i get 3 free tickets upto 500 each every month. The only thing is that for fourth free B1G1, i avoid using amex as it doesn't gives instant discount but cashback within 60 days which i am not quite sure about. So wanted to know if anyone has successfully received cashback from using their amex.

Tip: after completing 10 transactions in a year on BMS you get BMS SUPERSTAR level which is their loyalty program but I don't know it's benefit properly and it's not available online as well.

I don't know that we can utilize 4 BOGO in a month using 3 variants.. how to convert Dual card to all 3 (on luck basis)?
 
How does the sapphiro amex bookmyshow cashback works?

When I applied the offer it says not eligible for the instant discount but cashback will be posted by icici. Haa anyone recieved the bms cashback after 60 days? If yes kindly share.

Secondly has anyone recieved the 750 cashback on spent of 20000 on amex?
