ICICI limit enhancement link

Hello everyone.

I today got an SMS from ICICI bank with a link that would supposedly enable me to increase credit limit on my Amazon pay credit card.

What's weird to me is the sms channel seems legitimate because i recieve OTPs for online transactions.

Is this something that's normal and do people recieve such SMS or something that frauds have found a way to imitate the SMS sender name as well.


The question you may ask why am i hung up on it. You'd get limit increase automatically(without any links or whatsoever). I own 3 more cards HDFC Millennia, AMEX Smartearn and idfc millennia with limits 2.26L 2.35L and 1.2L respectively. Only this is the card with limit of 80000 (now 90000) which i use more than the other cards. But still stuck with substantially lower limit on it.



Would appreciate some tips on getting equivalent limit to other cards if any.

1. The SMS definitely looks suspicious.

2. I received a limit that was higher than the previous cards on Amazon Pay ICICI card.

Unfortunately, no experience with limit enhancement.

if the limit increase offer is available for you, then why not check imobile app?

In cards section, go to the card and there is an option 'Manage limit', there you'll be able to see new limit offered.

I didn't use for 3 months , didn't get any enhancement, then I mailed them to increase the limit , there also they denied.

Start and stop again start and stop until you get it. That's called start and stop technique as mentioned above

Yes, 2 to 3 months..sometimes 2 months is enough..
When you spend ,spend big ..and then stop.
