ICICI limit enhancement link

Hello everyone.

I today got an SMS from ICICI bank with a link that would supposedly enable me to increase credit limit on my Amazon pay credit card.

What's weird to me is the sms channel seems legitimate because i recieve OTPs for online transactions.

Is this something that's normal and do people recieve such SMS or something that frauds have found a way to imitate the SMS sender name as well.


The question you may ask why am i hung up on it. You'd get limit increase automatically(without any links or whatsoever). I own 3 more cards HDFC Millennia, AMEX Smartearn and idfc millennia with limits 2.26L 2.35L and 1.2L respectively. Only this is the card with limit of 80000 (now 90000) which i use more than the other cards. But still stuck with substantially lower limit on it.



Would appreciate some tips on getting equivalent limit to other cards if any.

But I have already enchanced it 15 days ago from imobile app and it's showing the same limit.

also funny enough @hetshah , yesterday you opened the link i had in my screenshot.. this morning i got a couple of OTP's meant for "free limit increase in your ICICI Bank Credit Card XXXXXX T&Cs."
The last 4 digits of card number are correct....🫠

AU Zenith and IDFC First Wealth

Why I suggested these cards?

1. They are LTF.
2. The probability of getting these cards is more as compared to CC of top banks.

Wrote to icici twitter handle,sent them details in dm. They arranged call back. Customer representative asked for itr through mail mentioning SR number. It increased in 4 working days itself.

Raised another request & now other 2 icici cards also share same limit now.

So now all 3 ( APAY, Platinum & MMT Signature) share same limit of 10L.

Try through SMS method.
Sms
CRLIM last 4 digit of card (which has lower limit)
Eg CRLIM 2234

To 5676766

Just keep the card in a drawer for 2 to 3 months and don't use it and see the magic

That’s interesting. Thanks for the information. I too struck at 5L with ICICI platinum since few years. Let me try your start stop technique. Whether this technique also works with other cards also.. Like SBI or HDFC?

May I ask you what your income range is, as per the shared ITR?
