Hi everyone,

I have an ICICI RuPay Coral Credit Card with a credit limit of ₹45,000. Today, I received my latest credit card statement and noticed a discrepancy in the available limit.

🔹 Observed Issue​

The available limit displayed is higher than expected by ₹200.

Breakdown of My Transactions:​

• Credit Limit: ₹45,000
• Total Payment Made: ₹5,000
• Billed Amount: ₹4,999.21
• Current Outstanding Balance: -₹0.79 (which is correct)

Expected Available Limit Calculation​

Available Limit = Credit Limit − Total Spent + Total Payment

Since I paid ₹5,000 against a billed amount of ₹4,999.21, my expected available limit should be ₹45,000.79.

Issue​

However, the statement shows an available limit of ₹40,200.79, meaning an extra ₹200 has been added (before 5000 payment). App was showing the same. After payment of ₹5,000 it changed to ₹45,200.79.

🔹 Additional Observations​

• I haven't used the card in the last two days.
• There are no pending transactions left in my statement.
• This ₹200 extra in the available limit is unexpected.
• PhonePe is showing the same while checking the balance.
• Email and SMS also showing the same.

🔹 Has anyone else faced a similar issue with ICICI credit cards? Is this a system glitch, or is there a specific reason behind it?​

Wait for few days it could be technical glitch

Or

There might be a promotion offer or something got refunded, check the current statement, last statement of credit card after few days.

If you are having same 200 extra after couple of statements generated , then I fell you can use it without issues.

Always pay attention on amount to be paid after the statement got generated
