ICICI Sapphiro Dual Card (Mastercard & Amex)

I got a ICICI Sapphiro Credit Card on November 2022 and it was on the Mastercard network.

After reading a few posts on our forum about the dual card for Sapphiro, I reached out to Customer Service through their website contact form for Level 1 complaints requesting for the same. Initially there was no reply other than silence for almost a week.

Escalated it to Level 2 and got a reply the next day saying the request will be addressed by concerned team within 3 working days. Yesterday, I received an email saying that I am being upgraded to the dual card variant and saw the two cards listed on iMobilePay and Net Banking. It was shipped through Bluedart and expecting it to be delivered tomorrow.

If anyone is looking to switch from Visa to Mastercard or to get the dual card, give this a try. Reach out to their Customer Service team through email since phone is literally useless.

Do we have any thread where all ICICI varients were explained from features perspective, like sapphiro and rubyx and gemstone, which one is better varients like basic to premium segments

got Sapphiro LTF today in dual variant (MC+Amex). what is the easiest way to get the Visa variant as well and hold all 3 variants as LTF. was anyone able to get the additional varient recently? thanks

I applied yesterday, ICICI Sapphiro under alumni program. They offered Amex+MC or Visa. I took Visa, because I have other Amex & MC Cards, and this I am just taking because it is a LTF card for ICICI discounts and don't want 2 more cards to track. They did not mention anything about any difference, and offered both options.

Card has not been approved yet, but should happen soon i completed KYC in the afternoon.

you dont need to track anything sperately .. they both are linked to same account... they both get same bill ..
If the purpose is to have more cards for offers, you would have got two cards for that purpose..

So logically spending a rupee on visa makes AmEx variant also active?

CC is different to CC account..

Spending on Visa doesn't make Amex variant to be activated..

salary above 2L or IIT alumni??

In the same boat, Sapphiro (MC Platinum & AMEX) offered as LTF.
Credit goes to : ICICI wealth management account > 10 yrs.
Relationship manager forced me to accept the offer and since haven't spent a dime on either of the cards.
Would love to read a good usage guide on Sapphiro & plan relevant expenses accordingly.

I also have Rubyx dual (MC+Amex) and requested to upgrade to Visa and Rupay variant but they said the existing variants will be cancelled if I change the network but last year I requested the same on coral card and still using all 4 variants of that card. Has something changed? Or ICICI reps just mention the cards will get cancelled but they remain active?

2. Similar question for airport lounge access. Is the benefit shared or separate for these cards?
3. If I apply for an add-on card, are the benefits shared or separate?
4. Have someone applied for add-on card from ICICI? Is it possible only through branch visit?

Add on member shd have ICICI account for addon. Lounge benefit shared provided eligibility. Credit limit shared.
You can appy via online but need to send the scan copy via mail. My spouse doesn't have ICICI a/c hence denied.

How long did your card take to approve after vkyc?
