Icici wealth management account debit card

Guys my account was upgraded to wealth management account but I still hold that blue color debit card..I called customer care today and asked if I can get a new debit for wealth management she said it's only feature benefits you get but no new card..is it true? If not is there any special debit card for wealth management account and how to apply?

Yes, it is Rs 236/- but the account is already downgraded to Privilege.
Only the debit card is WM world master.
So I am not even sure if next time during renewal, they will give WM world master itself.
They might give a normal card next time as well.

How did you get the WM MC DCDC? Wealth salary is/was never eligible for that DC.

Yes this could be the reason I suspect. And maybe ICICI do not want to give away free 0-balance WM accounts.

No that's not the reason. It's due to bank's internal algorithm that it was auto downgraded, similar to how it was auto upgraded in the past from privilege. There was no manual intervention so no one in the bank will be able to give you any reason, whether for the downgrade or upgrade.

After I got upgraded to Wealth salary account, I called 18001080 and asked for this DC. They gave it.
