What's the MAB you guys maintaining in your Wealth management account.

And what's would be the ideal mab to prevent it from getting downgraded.
Or any tips to avoid getting the account downgraded without maintaining mab.

If HDFC was distributing Imperia without MAB fulfillment and then suddenly downgraded people, you might have seen a similar reaction

Nahh people are still fine; they generally enroll for Preferred
and locker charges and some bits here and there is the only diff btn Preferred and Imperia

Reading other replies, it's clear that Pre approved offer and DC cashback seems to be the main reason.
I agree Hdfc's pre approved offers are really good. They are quite aggressive in tht field
and even their DC offers are great

The only reason for most people to open wealth was CIBIL, 0 MAB, better DC for lounge. (and ofcourse the leather pouch).
And most accounts are thus dormant.

Coming to HDFC, its DC cashback is one of the major reasons that people prefer that account. Apart from better pre approved offers.
Also, HDFC easily offers 0 MAB for Classic and usually doesn't downgrade.

If HDFC was distributing Imperia without MAB fulfillment and then suddenly downgraded people, you might have seen a similar reaction towards HDFC. but many people would still stay for DC Cashback. ICICI doesn't have any such edge.

Icici is shitt ..but i have 10k zero balance account ..never maintained a penny since opening of 2 years

At 177rs

I had no idea they had this card ( for tht matter I didn't even knewtht Icici gave DC below ₹200; except for Mine DC which also came at ₹177) I only knew about Coral Rupay

I was maintaining like 1lakh with some good transactions before receiving the downgrade mail...and took out all and made like 1000 or 1500 in the account

According to my RM FD relationship of 5 to 8 L would retain the WM status, for those interested…

5L Fd seems but to much compared to what they are offering.. Should be no more than 2L
