IDFC Account Digitally Opened - Total Freeze

Hey guys, I recently opened an IDFC First bank savings account, I already have an IDFC Credit card.

The account shows Total Freeze, and the Kit has been dispatched to my communication address.

Any Idea how to unfreeze the account?
 
Branch will do like that only. You will have to reach higher authority and do bamboo.
I have mailed the RNO/NO let's wait for their reply in my opinion I think in the end only RBI BO will be useful. But have to follow the proper channel to reach them.

Need to ask one more thing after when i can escalate this issue to RBI?? Any time period
 
Hi abhay Chauhan, I also facing the same issue. Please give me the mail ID's so that I also will mail to them. Please let me know the current status of your account. In my case the reason they gave is -- in short period of time, many transactions have happened. These are against rules of RBI, as per RBI rules we are closing your account. But I haven't cooperated with them

I have attached a PDF for your reference. The real reason for not unfreezing the account is not excessive transactions (if you have proper justification unless it is a business transaction) but is the verification stage and the reality is they don't want to waste their time to visit to your home and doing some verification as it is a necessary step in unfreezing the account.

I have gone to every level from customer service to PNO but in the last they will recommend you to go to Branch as the power levies only to them and then they automatically close my ticket and mark it as solved. At last, i have to go to the RBI Ombudsman but here too problem isn't solved and still pending from the last 1 and half months.

I will recommend you from my own experience if there is a huge amount lying in your account so, you should close it. Because the fight going to be long and don't even know if you will win or the branch will win. But if you really want to teach them a lesson then complain against Branch Manager that he is not solving the problem with rude behaviour they will do the rest and if he learns quickly then he will definietly talk to you and make a visit but if he is rude like mine then RBI is the only option after following the proper channel. Hope you get resolution.
Also, you can open new account again in future there is no restriction on it.

Rbi Ombudsman listened to what they are told from Branch not what customer says. They are useless in the most of the cases. They didn't even think of listening the customer just close the complain stating some subclause b or something which are non appealable.

My account also got blocked. Visited branch regarding this they are saying only way to remove freeze from your account is physical home verification.
But my registered adhar address is way more from the branch so its not possible to do the physical verification.
Untill then there is no way .
Also they are saying to close the account permanently.
Is there anyway to remove freeze cc is not helping properly.
Do i need to mail nodal officer regarding this ?
Or any other way ?
