IDFC Bank Zero Balance Account for the active CC users

Has anyone recently received a whatsapp from the IDFC Bank, stating that they can open a zero balance saving account ( basically the 10000K balance account would be the variant and the one's who received the message need not to maintain any balance.

I did get that on whatsapp and on being lured by the same, I opened the bank account with the same link but now the bank says it is a 10k Balance account which I will have to maintain.

Has anyone own a similar experience and can help on how I can get converted to a zero balance or seek help from where. ?

Ok Guys.
I started the thread and I have an update.
After taking it with the Social Media team and multiple esclation to PNO. I have finally got my account converted to a zero balance amc forever i.e. the standard 10k account with no amc charges forever.

So I got the root cause as well.
I am already a IDFC Wealth CC customer and I got a whatsapp stating that I will have a zero AMB account. (Customer ID XYZ)
Now, when I opened the account rather than mapping it to XYZ it created a new customer ID ABC hence the offer mismatched and I got a 10K variant account.
Now after sharing my CC details with them, they were finally able to get the correction done from the backend and gave me a green signal to be free from AMC forever.

But the other problem I have is that I have 2 customer ID's now and that means the Saving account doesnt show CC details and CC account doesnt show saving account details.
What is showing in the app? @everyone, Even though I received 0 balance whatsapp messages, mine still shows SAVINGS REGULAR 10K.
 
I am receiving this offer regularly on WhatsApp. However whenever I click the link provided in the offer, the landing page doesn’t shows 10000/- striken off, so I always stop there. Looks like IDFC is playing cat and mouse game with me.
I’m IDFC wealth CC customer.

Just do not click on the link, you need to move further with aadhar otp, then it will show 0 AMB .

Yes, this is correct.
In the initial screen it shows default values, if you go further it will show its true colour..
Just proceed with confidence with OTP authentication ….

Frankly speaking I don't need that account as it is not of much use to me.
Already have accounts in 2 PSU and 2 Private Banks (opened recently, HDFC and RBL).

If there is any extra benefit of this account, pls let me know.

I think its good to have this .. especially as it 0 MAB..
will discuss about its advantages a bit later
