In idfc app, those transactions description showing OUT. usually it shows as home expenses or education, so i wont get points?

Wait for some time. For me one of the very first transactions shown like that, later updated to home expenses.

Any way in 2 weeks your points get credited and please report here.

Even if somehow txn got categorised to Others (Out), if the MCC is eligible, don't worry, you will get the points, just wait and watch.
