My aunt has around 3.5L AMB from past 10-12 months and she also has 7L FD with IDFC. Is it possible to get her account Upgraded to wealth and then group my account with her to upgrade mine to wealth as well?

I think not. 'Aunt' isn't defined to be included in the definition of family. To quote IDFC,
Group –A group is a set of customers of the bank who are related to each other through a set of predefined family relationships such as Spouse, Children, Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, Grandparents etc.

should i go ahead now or open first and upgrade later? Preference 1st due to low hassle

Can I remove the balance at end of July or need to hold for longer?
 
Does anyone else have any rm contact that can get the upgrade done in a week or so, given a kax funding of 10l.
 
Hi guys, I have requested for Wealth upgrade through customer care, they raised a callback request from my branch for this. The branch person called and shared a consent link SMS for upgrade. I accepted it. How long does it take for the whole process of upgrade. I did receive an email yesterday titled "FIRST Wealth – A banking experience curated only for you". Apart from this I have not received anything.

You have to wait for a week, if there is no progress on the request then reach out to Nodal desk. You can track the request on view request on IDFC app or netbanking.

My local branch is BS. Always pushing new initiatives. and VRM was strict on 10L for 3 months, and I have been like 8.7 for month and half (for eg withdrawn for a week hence MAB fall)

I got the upgrade done by a random rm who happened to be from my hometown. Just a coincidence, my rm was on leave the call router to the random person and then since there was something in common we got talking and the person was happy to take the initiative to upgrade. Though once my rm came back he called me and tried to sell some crap.
