Hi, IDFC has started to upgrade from Select to Wealth, easily by Card to Card (other card should have limit abv 4lk), just share your other card statement, and they will upgrade your existing card within a week, had to send other card statement to IDFC Banker <banker@idfcfirstbank.com> and they processed the upgrade quiet smoothly.

I am kinda not understanding the process. I have a Select with just 1.5 lakhs limit, but my other cards have 4 lakhs+ limit. So should I send their statement and an upgrade request?

Currently they were running 10x RP on international spends which would effectively give a net return of 0.7% on card statement

No, just called their customer care, they told I can upgrade if I submit other bank card statement for last 3 months but limit should be abv 4lk, I used my DCB limit was 5lk. and then upgrade process was smooth. Got it in a week.

I have already tried this 2 months ago using my DCB Statement (with limit >5L). They still asked for Salary Slips and bank statements and then rejected my request.

Try again , since devaluation they are giving upgrades easily

same happened with me few months back
hence not feeling like trying again
also I've almost entirely stopped using IDFC Select since last October

A major benefit in terms of reward?

One benefit is 1+1 on movies upto Rs 500 on paytm twice a month, but if you already have other card like magnus giving similar offers they this might not be useful.
And the other is 4 railway lounges per quarter, don't think we have any spend limit to achieve this like the airport one.
