IDFC Select Rejection

Recently IDFC rejected my Select credit card application saying they cannot verify my existence at home location but no one has called for verification.

I have tried all escalation - PNO, RBI ombudsman but not getting any response.

Anyone face this issue? Please suggest steps for ReKYC and application reconsideration.
 
I think I'm lucky removed two times.

Can you elaborate further as I will be connecting with IDFC for removing one entry soon

You connected with them on twitter and DMed them or tweeted and then later mailed them the CIBIL report?
 
Put a simple name so tagging becomes easy 😂😂

I had a similar conversation, and a few people mentioned that if I change the name, it would be difficult for them to tag me since they’ve become accustomed to ‘Monika.’ They suggested changing it to ‘Mokvega.’

If u r important to they will tag u even if ur name is @D₹V with special letter & @S S V with space between each alphabet 😂😂
 
Got this reply from IDFC to national consumer forum complaint:

Dear sir/ madam, We are in receipt of the complaint. We are working towards the same and we shall ensure to reply within timelines. Regards, IDFC FIRST Bank

Call again & say u know

You can re - open Application after rejection within 7 days since your guy didn't came & wasn't your fault ..
Try with different customer care executive..
A sane one with knowledge will do it .
Also dm them on twitter.
Tried all this with 3 people but getting same response that application is closed and need to reapply.

Will DM on Twitter and will try to get the cibil removed.
 
I used that name as reference to explain the situation there
Naam se kya lena Dena hai bhai log. It's all about the sharing few common thoughts on some topics to overcome from similar real-time scenarios which the other one had might be faced. So I personally feel, in this gender ya naam se kuch tension lene ka zarurat nahi hai mera bhai log.

After all, this is a community & not a matrimonial portal 😄

I had to try this: the agent initially typed my name as ‘Vega Monika,’ but my Aadhar card has it as ‘Monika Vega.’ Due to this mismatch, the first application couldn’t proceed. So, the agent started a new application with the name as mentioned in my Aadhar. Unfortunately, due to their mistake, I now have inquiries for one card. When I contacted them via email, they informed me that they won’t remove the inquiries.
As far as I know the impact of enquiry on CIBIL score remains for 3 months. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Verification is done by 3rd party agents and banks act upon their findings. So, essentially, you have no cause of action against the bank. Please do as recommended by @DocFixIt .

Can you share more details whether the hit was for applying the credit card from their site.
Did you DM on twitter and shared CIBIL at banker@idfcfirstbank.com and got it removed.

I am on the same boat and want to get it removed as I am not interested in their card anymore and dropped even before selecting the card.
I have first DM them on twitter and then mailed them the CIBIL for suppression, but they are only quoting that I gave consent while moving ahead with the credit card application.

As you were able to remove, I assume this might be a similar case.

Select &Reject in the same line.. funny 🙂.. You are not missing anything on the card now.. its a v v avg card.. try another card
