IDFC Select to LIC IDFC Select ?

Is there a way I can upgrade from IDFC select to IDFC LIC Select? has anyone tried this?

@sjmajumder has promised he will 200% surely get IDFC LIC card in May 2024, along with already holding Wealth Card.

I take my words back. Agent was 300% sure and filled the forms from his side and sent me link to confirm but it didn't work. He took about 7-10 days to enquire from bank and finally came back saying bank has reverted to him that since I am holding a Wealth card I cannot get LIC card.

I am not sure about whether select card can be converted to LIC card but definitely you can cancel select card and then apply for LIC card.

My agent was so confident I believed him. He was confident while applying too and was completely taken aback when I got error. He tried twice but it failed both times.

Me & @Chaitanya-a have actually tried using 3-3 different mobile numbers and haven't got success, and hence we were telling you !!

I was trying to find an answer today. I called customer care and they told the same.
One person can hold only one LTF card. If you want LIC Select, then it will not be LTF.
Or else, cancel existing wealth card and then apply for LIC Select.
There is no cooling off period, you can apply soon after you cancel. (But I think it is better to wait for full cancellation + CIBIL gets updated.)
Also, No upgrade possible from Wealth > LIC Select.
