Revaluation IDFC Wealth Credit Card Interest Rate Slashed!

Just received an email from IDFC, and I have to say - I’m pleasantly surprised. They have upgraded my monthly interest rate from 2.33% p.m. to just 0.71% p.m., effective 15th March 2025 for my Wealth Credit Card.

To put this into perspective, this is way lower than most personal loan rates I’ve seen recently. If you’re someone who occasionally carries a balance or needs short-term liquidity, this kind of rate makes a huge difference.

Not sure what triggered this change, but I’m definitely not complaining! Anyone else seeing similar upgrades from IDFC or other banks? Would love to hear your thoughts!

we need to use at least 30% of the credit limit

The interest rate offer is common to everyone( thats what the IDFC website says)... Also, it was not an explicit condition for this offer.... maybe once we avail, they might share more info/tncs .....

Exactly opposite happened to me with my Select CC. Went from 9% to 21% probably due to nil to low usage. On the other hand, I had IDFC WOW with consistent 9% interest rate.

Its not an offer. Interest rates keep changing on revolving basis. Lower usage = higher interest rate and vice versa.

I just read ur post again. So idfc offer different interest rate for their different card for the same customer.

Yeah, revolving interest rates on unsecured CCs. Fixed on secured CC.

You can check interest rate by going into Cards - (your card) - Scroll down, Quick Actions - View Card Privileges.
