I know someone at a high position at customs office in Kolkata and he confirmed to me that drone import from China or any other country is banned in India. You will enjoy everything but once you're caught, it comes under anti national activities. 😊

That's because it isn't for business purpose. But importing it in shipping containers for the purpose of reselling, it's illegal.

Yes you're right people buy drones from abroad buy it's for their personal use or atleast they portray it that way. Plus mostly no one gets a sealed pack from there unless you're lucky.

Yes you're right. But this works only if it's some assembled kinda drone. Msor people go for dji drones which obvisuly is not a cakewalk to assemble or disassemble😅
