This cannot be allowed. It is a big privacy risk and against the constitution of India. Even police cannot force legally anyone to reveal Phone password as of today.

They will not as you to share password...they will ask gmail, instagram, facebook etc to provide access...you will never come to know about it till you will receive notice 😀 😀

You are mistaken....there was a big crackdown on salaried employees as some were submitting fake bills, not reporting crypto gains, have foreign/additional income through moonlighting which is not reported etc.

I meant your regular run-of-the-mill salaried guy. I don't think fake bills (unless it's in lakhs) is much of a concern, a few thousand saved in taxes shouldn't justify an investigation but I have no sympathy for people hiding their income. Either all of us get to hide our income or no one does.
