Increasing limit on SBI BPCL credit card?

I was looking for a fuel card on Rupay platform and looked into SBI BPCL. I already have SBI simplyclick with limit of 1.7L. When I talked to customer care they ensured me that I would get limit over 1.5L in BPCL card. I applied and card got approved but I got limit of just 26k in the new BPCL card, which is very low. I am thinking of contacting customer care and get them to increase limit, and in case they don't agree then not activate this card. Should I keep this card with this low limit? I have 3 other cards with limits over 4.5L.

So I talked to customer care today. They said that they have stopped limit transfer facility in SBI card. I have writteb mail to customer care and would escalate it till nodal officer, but I don't think I would succeed.

Just use the card for next few months, post that you can apply for LE manually through their website in "EMI & More" section by uploading 3 months salary proof along with bank statements. I did the same to increase BPCL Visa Card limit from 1.4 L to 4.2 L last month.

PS- You must use the card on regular basis for 4-5 months before this.

Can you share how much time did SBI take to process your LE request? Did you pay any fee for this manual LE request and any Cibil hit?

Within 10 working days, No fees or cibil hit. Bank statements must reflect the salary credit for 3 moths supporting the net salary amount.

First you need to list out that BPCL pump which accepts payment through ALP system.

How to find that? There are two BPCL pumps near me but neither of them work with smartdrive. Either swipe the card or pay through upi qr code.

And OTP way to pay at pump.
No fuel surcharge and GST above it😉
You get 0.5% cashback too👍

But instead of receiving 25x reward points i.e. 250 points only 10 reward points were credited to the card.

Can you please confirm if smartdrive still giving value back benefits or it is stopped.

₹0.50 were charged on the recharge of ₹1000.

same thing happened with my bpcl card this week. did you get any resolution. It used to give reward points properly till last month

loading hellobpcl app using sbi bpcl was working till mid of this month but for last 2 weeks it stopped giving points for me. can you confirm whether you got it this week?

main drawback is RUPAY

Why it's a drawback, can't we use the rupay BPCL card for UPI payments and fulfil the spend limit of Rs50000 ?

thanks for the point on discounts, can the spends done on UPI be considered for completing that Rs50000 spends for annual fee waiver ?
